SOUL.md — Agent Soul File
Definition
A workspace file in OpenClaw that defines the agent's identity, personality, values, and communication style. It's the equivalent of a character brief — telling the agent *who it is* rather than what it can do. Popularized by @aaronjmars, it's become a community standard.
Examples in the Wild
- Example 1:Defining tone: 'You are a no-nonsense crypto analyst'
- Example 2:Defining values: 'Never share private data, always double-check before acting externally'
